Wow!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing! Look at that depth! that DETAIL! THOSE COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do I even look first. There is so much to admire and take in that it blows your mind!
There is simply only one other thing that I can do beside giving a full 5 stars...and that's favoriting it!
Great job man, this is impressive.

Edit: Well I glad I left you speechless;) lol But seriously, you did a great job and you deserve it. It inspires me a lot too.

I don't even know, how to respond :) Thank you! You're way to kind...

This is super cool! and not bad for a 1st time lizard person. Great job!
I love that tiny detail in his skin/tail.

Hey I wondering, Are you going to enter the Newgrounds' spooktacular Halloween contest?
I got my entry submitted it and I really like he way it turned out.
If your skill that I've seen so far, I'm sure you'd create something insane!
This is what I did: https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kaileahpnelson/protector-of-the-lost-children

Edit: OK, well, if you do decide to enter, I'll look for yours;)

rsartist responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you like it... I didn't realize there was a contest, I'm not on here awful much, But I'll be sure to check out your piece :-)

Wow....just wow. The depth and detail of everything is insane. I love the colors and the love the mushrooms on his back and head showing a 3D effect.

Edit: ☺☺☺☺

theguestquester responds:

thank you very much! this motivates me a lot :D

Its a Avatar wanna-be!
Actually this is pretty cool. I love that lightning part and the blurring at the bottom of the image, kind of blending things together. Its pretty cool.

Edit: Don't regret it. This is a wonderful piece and obviously has nothing do to with Avatar. For one, he never did anything with lightning, at least to my knowledge. And two, you can tell its a original piece. I love it. Those people who complained just don't understand that you can not copyright monks or Elemental powers and if they end out in the same masterpiece, like yours, it doesn't mean its Avatar. Just because it made a big hit with some people.

P.S. I was joking when I said Avatar wanna-be, by the way. and I added this to me favorites;)

rsartist responds:

Thanks, you wouldn't believe how much shit I've taken because for this piece... the client wanted a monk who was taking the path of the 4 elements in dnd so i did this and he was happy... but I share it on social media and everyone has a meltdown saying I'm stealing characters, and just copying Avatar... it as definitely makes me regret ever making this piece

Her hair is just beyond beautiful..... And the ocean is so pretty.
This is fantastic!

Edit:☺☺☺☺

clayscence responds:

thank you so much!

OOOH, she pretty. I love her braid and the wings are amazing. Her outfit fits her too.
This is really nice. Great job!

Edit: ☺

clayscence responds:

thank you :D :D

He's kind of cute is a weird way. I kind of picture him to be something small like, less in foot tall, but in his mind he's like this big monstrous beast....that is until you zoom your focus out and he's really actually small....but hey it just me.
Great job! I love it!

Edit: I love the details! Their crazy awesome!

clayscence responds:

haha that's a cool interpretation! he is a crazy guy, I'm not sure about the details though

Dang, this is absolutely fantastic! I don't know where to look or even begin to description just how awesome this is. Great job!

Edit: ☺☺☺☺

clayscence responds:

thanks for all the comments!!

Oh my gosh! Its zombie Bob Ross!!!!! That's one of the first things I saw lol I like the background choice in color as those colors draw the attention of the viewer so good job with that. And the shadows of your warriors, too, I don't think too many people think if shadows like that, at least if the few that i saw while the others were to busy to worry about shadows and I like them because I kind of do that style more so then anything as I'm just branching out with having to remember to put shadows for added depth. *claps*
(You asked for a review;) and you got!!! lol)
I see a lot of the illustration was done with crayon(?) and colored pencil and i love the shadow depth in your warriors skin...that is one thing I didn't do but tried but my colored pencil didn't want to give me that affect. Bravo! I'm glad yours turned out. I like the chainmail in your knights' armor which actually inspires me to put more detail into my armor-work with my knights and warriors that i do for various works.
I kind of feel like your group of warriors are standing at the edge of a cliff, facing, as you put it, their failure but they are not looking back in defeat but rather in triumph so I can see the hopeful inspiration you put into your work and I hope you continue to strive to get better in your art and I wish you the best of luck in the contest! Great job!

Thank you KaileahPNelson for the lovely review!(Actually my eyes were struggling as I read the review. I really appreciate your speed of typing.Wow!) But I am really thankful for the review. Thanks Again for the support!

Very good for a beginner. I see you used acrylic paint(?) to paint this. Continue to strive to get better in your art and you'll go far. I do the same and I've been drawing all my life, only recently in the last 6 years or so my art has gotten better so your on a great path. keep it up! and good luck in the contest!

Edit: Happy that I could help. I haven't painted with acrylic much. I just got into painting myself and have been doing outside murals. One of the murals that I see I posted on my page and that was on the side of a garage so its big. and its my 1st mural lol I'm drawing everyday too. Can't seem to stop, if its not a doodle then its a coloring page for another one my self-published therapeutic coloring books or just a drawing for simple enjoyment. I look forward to seeing your art get better and better:) And thank you. I just read your comment on my illustration.

MagicRaven responds:

Thank you so much for such a detailed response! Yes, I did use acrylic paint on bristol board. Great advice! I try to draw in my sketchbook every day and I am slowly improving. I have reviewed your art and it seems like you are definitely improving as well! (Your art is amazing, btw) :)
