Yeah it helps when my partner has 35K subscribers on his YouTube. It'll be great for both of us and those who don't even up as a winner or runner up or 15 of the honorable mentions, I'll be making a video to showcase everyone hard work because they're be far more than 15 honorable mentions that should be showcased So no one will be missing out. lol
Ah that's a TON! :D The levels of fame some people seem to reach within the span of a month or two with just the right kind of charisma and content, that takes a lifetime for others... that's cool. At least I won't feel obligated to join in cause no one else is though. XD

I've actually seen a number of people who joined around the same time as me but quickly became more popular while I'm barely a blip on a map lol I've get there though....one day.
Also, you could always join for the fun of it. You don't have to feel obligated;P
Some people that jump in from other platforms might give a pretty unfair impression too. :) We do get the occasional YT or Tumblr celebrity (especially now when those platforms are just turning everything upside down), that bring a fair share of their fans with them here, upload old work and make a name for themselves in a matter of minutes; make it seem like they've been around forever. Some of us have to grind on tho! But the harder the climb the more rewarding the peak when we reach it!!!
